- Graduate Student in Dual-Title History and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program
- BA, Washington and Lee University, 2016
I am a graduate student in the Departments of History and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Pennsylvania State University in their dual-title PhD program. My research interests center on female sexuality in early modern German, specifically the histories of childbirth and midwifery. I am also interested in the crisis of German identity, both in the early modern and modern periods. I earned my BA with Honors in European History as well as German Language and Literature from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia where I wrote a thesis titled "The Publicity of Female Sexuality in the Early Modern Period: An Analysis of Reproductive Intervention Techniques." I hope to continue my work in this field through both my MA papers and dissertation here at Penn State. You can find me on Academia.edu.
